| Description: |
The SW 8th Avenue project involved a major reconstruction of four blocks of roadway to address deficient infrastructure, improve public safety and parking. Infrastructure iimprovements included enhancements to stormwater management facilities and replacing overhead utilities underground. GRU upgraded water and gas utility lines. The project also included the installation of new decorative roadway lighting to make the corridor more visually attractive. The roadway also received new paving and the sidewalks were reconstructed using real brick paving. |
