The bus shelters will be fully accessible and comply with standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act, have solar lighting, signage, and sheltered seating. Revised designs are needed to improve durability and passenger comfort. The shelters are to be located initially on two test sites on the south and north side of University Avenue; however, additional sites will be selected at a future date. The initial two (2) sites proposed for the shelters are 1402 West University Avenue and 1826 West University Ave, where a bus stop and shelters are currently located. |
