Description:
The SW 13th Street Streetscape project is part of a comprehensive effort to revitalize this important urban corridor by upgrading the publicly-owned transportation facilities adjacent to the Shands Healthcare campus, University of Florida and surrounding residential neighborhoods. The new streetscape elements consist of brick sidewalk pavers, driveway consolidation, erosion controls and Renaissance lighting. This work coordinates with the CRA’s planned rehabilitation of the SW 13th Street Pedestrian Overpass and the linked Depot Avenue Rail Trail with the addition of a pedestrian connection and plaza from SW 13th Street.
