The CRA is redeveloping 1712 and 1714 Hawthorne Road to encourage economic development in the Southeast Gainesville Renaissance Initiative (SEGRI) area. The purpose of this redevelopment is as follows: 1) to create a visually appealing site which will serve as a catalyst for commercial development along the Hawthorne Road Corridor; 2) bring a use to the Eastside that does not currently exist; and 3) lease (or sell) the building to a small business. |
